Once the jig is welded in place, cut the roof.
The rear corners are removed to give better access
Position California panel and trim as required
Inner strength can be repaired at the same time
New panel welded in
Jig removed and tailgate fitted to line up the corners before sot welding on.
Cab seat floors have been plated and patched many times over the years, so they are being replaced with new genuine Vw replacements.
Bulk heads repaired first
