Slamming complete
We havn't gone too silly with the lowering as Florence is a daily driver and needs to contend with speed bumps on a daily basis.

Clutch adjustment
If your clutch needs adjusting frequently, you may have a problem such as worn pedal linkage, worn pin or collapsed thrust bearing. All are easily fixed.

Worn pedal linkage, can be welded up and re-drilled.

Replace this pin, different length pin for early and late bay.

Early bays have a primative thrust bearing and arm and are weak. Convert it to a late bay type with thrust bearing guide tube.

Modifying the suspension continues
So we had a lovely adjustable late bay beam to play with and fit to the early bay. You can make anything fit if your determined
enough. New ball joints wheel bearings discs hubs and pads.

The late bay towers won't fit the chassis of the 67/68. Especially this one as it has a Splitty chassis, seriously it's a wacky one underneath, it's a Splitty with a bay wrapper.

Custom shock towers, give us the clearance we need to slot into the chassis.

Tucks those 16" Porsche wheels in nicely.

Slamming required!
This is Florence, you may have seen her around, she's got golf headlights?? But she's too high and on stock wheels.

We have dumped the wide five and fitted late rear hubs, with red 9 design adaptors and T2D adjustable rear spring plates.

Mmm that's better! The wheels just tuck in nice, no brakes or anything yet as we needed to know if the wheels would squeeze under those flat early arches. Loads of room, well just about get a meerkats foreskin in there anyway.
