Cabin Floor Reconstruction

Today we have reconstructed the left hand front cab floor around the pedal area, a new panel had been welded in previously but was illfitting and the welds had not penetrated well. We shortened the original repair panel, removed some more of the original pitted holey floor and fabricated a new piece to go in between. We've included some pictures of the fabricated repair piece (you could weld in just a flat panel, but machining grooves into the panels adds strength and looks sexy).

Fabrication and Welding on Voilet Begins

We've started cutting out some of the pitted thin and holed areas of Violet, fabricated some of our own panels to bridge the gaps to fit some premolded bought panels.
