The Koo advances

The Kombi Koo now has a new rear corner, arch, battery tray front and rear closing panels repaired sill, bulk head:)

The Kombi Koo front overhaul

The Kombi Koo sports the spare wheel on the front. This hasn't helped rotting the front, when water and leaves get trapped behind it.



The screens also leak if the old seals are perished



The problem gets worse if you put insulation in the front as is soaks up the leak and rots the metal from behind


















So waiting for a back ordered dash panel:(

On removal of the screen the true extent of the tin worm is revealed



Think we are going to need a new dash!



The lip which the seal holds onto is not there, the water has come down inside the front panel and rotted it out from behind lower down.

Issues to address with the Kombi-Koo

Front panel is a bit holed


Windscreen surround is holed and leaking water


Headlight surround are corroded and holed


Sliding door covers are corroded and holed


Rear arches are not too bad:)


Rear corners and bumper have seen better days:(



Front arches are a bit needy


Roof needs a good scrub


Right hand rear corner is pooped
