New Front Panel Preparation And Chassis Repair

Before fitting a new front panel, there were some repairs that were needed, ie; inner lower front panel and deformation panel, and inner windscreen surround. Various holes under the heater all needed repairing and coating in zinc, in order to prolong its life. We have repaired the chassis by butt joining some 1.6 gauge repair steel, flush so it cannot be seen once welded in.
